Andrew H. Liu, MD, FAAAAI"Many junior faculty in allergy / immunology attempting to make the transition to independent funding in the U.S. find it difficult to find funding for such efforts. The award definitely helped me make the transition to become a productive and independent investigator and academician. Having now established a foothold, I hope that good work on my part will follow. I am so grateful for the ERT’s support. It has made a difference for me and is reflected in my career’s work.

Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Education and Research Trust (ART)

The mission of the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Education and Research Trust is to find treatments and cures for the millions of people suffering from allergies, asthma and other immunologic diseases by supporting education and research.

Formerly the Education and Research Trust (ERT), the new Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Education and Research Trust (ART) offers expanded giving options, including designated giving and the creation of endowments.

The ART’s expanded giving options allow the AAAAI to enhance efforts that support A/I training programs, support practicing A/Is and the patients they care for, increase educational opportunities for members and foster research.

With your help, the ART will:

  • Build and sustain a network of academic faculty, educators and clinical specialists in allergy, asthma and immunology to optimally treat individuals with these diseases. Learn more >
  • Discover new knowledge and a better understanding of these diseases through the support of pivotal, ground-breaking research. Learn more >
  • Enhance public awareness of these diseases. Learn more >
