Major Goals of Training Program
The main objective of this program is to provide training for internists and pediatricians interested in a subspecialty, practice or academic career in allergy and immunology. Each of the two years is designed to provide intensive clinical exposure to a wide range of problems seen by an Allergy-Immunology subspeciality service. This includes the range of allergic disorders common to adults and children. Electives in ENT, pediatric pulmonary, dermatology and other specialties are available. The Creighton University Division of Allergy and Immunology is actively involved with clinical and basic research projects, and the fellows-in-training are active participants in this process. In addition, adequate time during the fellowship is available to undertake an individual research project.
