International members, Fellows or colleagues with limited income and economic hardship may take advantage of most AAAAI member benefits while receiving a discounted dues rate through the eMembership program. eMembership includes member discounts and the member rate for the AAAAI Annual Meeting, but all communication is conducted electronically. Program benefits Benefits of the international electronic membership for those experiencing economic hardship are: Full access to the AAAAI Web site, including the Members Only section Ability to participate in Interest Sections, Assemblies and committees Member rate for the AAAAI Annual Meeting and any other AAAAI events Listing on AAAAI Web site and other materials as a member or Fellow Right to use AAAAI membership or Fellow status on curriculum vitae and other publications Given economic hardship conditions the cost of the E-Membership program is waived for those who qualify and requires Internet access. A subscription to the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI), online or in print, is not offered for this membership category. If any member would like to continue receiving the JACI, the subscription rate will be reduced to the AAAAI domestic or international member subscription rates. Current AAAAI members and Fellows who need to request transfer of membership to the new electronic status, must document economic hardship for review by the Board of Directors. International Fellows will not lose their status if they become an “eFellow.” International allergist/immunologists applying for this membership category will have their application fee waived if the application for eMembership accompanies the standard AAAAI membership application. eMembership Application (PDF)     <back>
